I am a research scientist at OPPO Research Institute working on NLP (large language model, knowledge graph reasoning), and complex networks (applications of graph theory, data science).
Bio: I received my Ph. D. from the Department of Electronic Engineering at City University of Hong Kong in 2019, where I was advised by Tommy W. S. Chow (Fellow, IEEE) and Guanrong Chen (Life Fellow, IEEE). After that, I was a postdoctoral scholar in the Management of Complex Systems (MCS) at University of California Merced from 2019 to 2021, where I was advised by Alex M. Pertersen and worked in his research group. As an undergraduate student, I received a B.S. degree in the Department of Electronics Information Science and Technology at China Agricultural University in 2013.
Research: My research interests include natural language processing and complex networks, especially graph neural networks, large language model, applications of graph theory and data science. I am mostly excited about developing new computational techniques with machine learning and complex networks to explore some universal patterns and fundamental mechanisms in many real systems. I am extremely interested in proposing simple methods to address complicated real-world scenarios.
